Barbara is nationally known for her graphic art work in designing gold and silver commemoratives. She has created over 74 pieces, some of which were: "The 50th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge," "The crew of the Challenger Commemorative," "The Wizard of Oz Series," "The 100th Anniversary of the Powell Street Cable Car," "The Rodeo Series," "The Baseball Hall of Fame Series," and too many more to mention.

Barbara started her painting of The Royal in Sisters, Oregon the summer of 1991, shortly after she started she had a serious horse accident and an operation. After many months of recovery Barbara again went back to her painting, and finally the original was completed in March of 1995. It actually took her two years to complete the painting done in oils.

The staff at "The Royal" have called Barbara's painting "The best of the best" they have ever seen.

The original framed painting at this time is for sale. Originally it was hand carried to Hawaii, and appraised at $37,000.00 by one of the most prestigious art galleries in Hawaii.

Barbara has priced her painting at this time in 2004 at $26,000.00.
